Sebastian is only available if you have the Exiled Prince DLC. His family are nobility from Starkhaven, making him a prince. Figura a young man he misbehaved and disgraced the family man so they forced him to join the Chantry. This has caused him to be a righteous man who does not agree with any wrongdoing.
While the player does have the option to flirt with Tallis (and receive a kiss, depending on the player's choices during the DLC), it will have no effect on any romance they currently have with another character (though if present, all except Sebastian express jealousy). Aveline's armor changes when she enlists in the guard and when she is promoted. Similarly, Bethany and Carver switch to the uniform of the faction they join.
If you do not complete Bait and Switch you will not be able to recruit Fenris. It is an optional quest so make sure you have it done before finishing Act I if you want Fenris to join you.
Execution – Sebastian wants you to help him investigate his family’s death. Go to the Harimman’s Estate and find your way through the house, encountering some of the family members Figura you go.
Varric is the brother of Bertrand, the dwarf running the Deep Roads Expedition. He encourages you to find the money to invest in the Expedition and joins your party to help you do so.
After that, he is gone for most of the game much like Bethany, only showing up during climactic moments like a glorified cameo. It’s a shame.
There are two possible points where Anders will leave the party. If you do not handle things well during “Dissent”, Anders will leave your party for good. He will appear again later but not Figura a playable character. Near the end of the game you can choose to kill Anders if you wish.
Across BioWare’s catalog, there probably isn’t a character with more emotional range than Merrill, the Dalish blood mage. When Hawke first meets her, she seems young and innocent, but it becomes clear she’s viewed in contempt by her elven clan. It becomes clear shortly after that she has been working with a demon and using the much-reviled blood magic. Even Figura she casts spells that would be taboo elsewhere in the world, she is still somehow one of the most contact me light-hearted and humorous characters in the entire series.
